Neil McShane

BSc FRICS

Neil is a Chartered Surveyor with 20 years of experience in commercial property consultancy. Neil graduated from Ulster University in 2002 with a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management. He became a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2004.

Previous to INPRIO, Neil was a director in the largest commercial property consultancy in Northern Ireland, initially working within the Professional Services department where he specialised in valuations and landlord & tenant lease advisory.

In 2006, Neil moved to the Capital Markets division within the same firm specialising in investment acquisitions and disposals in Northern Ireland and across the UK. Neil acts, and has acted, for a considerable number of local private investors and property companies in respect of both acquisitions and disposals.

Neil has extensive asset management experience having acted for numerous property companies in respect of significant portfolios across all commercial sectors and throughout the UK. Neil also provides development consultancy and has considerable experience preparing development appraisals.

In September 2013, Neil was elected to Fellowship status within the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Claire Shaw

BSc (Hons) MSc PhD

Claire is a research analyst with 20 years of experience, undertaking research projects for both public and private sector clients.

Previously, Claire spent over four years as a researcher for Lambert Smith Hampton. Specialising in market analysis with a focus on the investment sector, Claire is a trusted property analyst and has published reports on the Belfast retail, office and hotel landscape. Claire is responsible for commercial property intelligence and provides strategic commercial property analysis.

This was our first time purchasing a company property.
